KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar has confirmed the ceasefire agreement. While Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has also said that India, Pakistan have agreed to a ceasefire.
- Pakistan's Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) called the Indian DGMO and agreed both sides would stop all firing and military action on land and in the air and sea with effect from 10.05.2025 at 1700 hrs.

INCIDENTS BEFORE THE CEASEFIRE AGREEMENT
Pakistan’s military said that strikes have been launched against Indian military sites as part of Operation Bunyan Marsoos after three Pakistani airbases were targeted by India’s air-to-surface missiles.
Indian Military claimed that it has conducted precision strikes on Pakistan military targets.
Pakistan Civil Aviation said that Pakistan's airspace will remain closed for all types of flights until 12:00 p.m. (0700 GMT) on 11.05.2025.

1. GOVERNMENTS RESPONSE
1.1. INDIA
a. India has declared that any future act of terror will be considered an Act of War against India and will be responded to accordingly.
b. Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on 10.05.2025 chaired a high-level meeting with all three service chiefs of Army, Air Force, and Navy along with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and NSA Ajit Doval in New Delhi amid escalating India-Pakistan tension.
c. India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that Pakistan’s claims about destroyed military infrastructure during attacks over recent hours are completely false.
d. India’s Defence Ministry has accused Pakistan of targeting civilian infrastructure during overnight attacks as part of Operation Bunyan Marsoos.
1.2. PAKISTAN
a. Pakistani Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif has said that armed forces have given a strong, coordinated, and powerful response to the Indian aggression and avenged the blood of innocent people. The Prime Minister took the political leaders into confidence regarding the current tense situation and Pakistan's retaliatory actions against India, during which PM said India launched missile and drone attacks on Pakistan.
b. Pakistani PM said that India has launched missile attacks on Nur Khan Airbase and other locations. Further stated that the Indian attacks targeted innocent and unarmed civilians.
c. Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif has contacted the leadership of Pakistan’s political parties to discuss the ongoing tensions with India and take them into confidence on the country’s response to its neighbour
d. Following the discussion with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan will consider peace if India stops military action.

b. Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar speaks to US Secretary of State Mr. Marco Rubio and said India's approach has always been measured and responsible and remains so.
c. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia spoke to the Indian, Pakistani foreign ministers and called for de-escalation, end to military confrontation.
d. G7 Foreign Ministers' statement on India and Pakistan called for immediate de-escalation and encouraged both countries to engage in direct dialogue towards a peaceful outcome.
