International Response

13. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Thursday condemned Israeli attacks on Gaza as "collective punishment of the civilian population", in some of Moscow's strongest criticism of Israel as it steps up its offensive.

15. Chile has withdrawn its two remaining military attachés from its embassy in Israel, marking a new escalation in diplomatic tensions between the two countries amid the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
